Waist measurements of trousers are 6 inches smaller than jacket sizes. For instance, if you have a 42'' jacket, the corresponding trousers will have a 36'' waist.

Shoulder Width: Measure the shoulder width from point to point.

English tailoring is admired and respected all over the world and Cordings is proud to be part of this heritage. Our Cordings’ suits have been perfected on a traditional English block and this double breasted sharkskin suit, woven in Yorkshire, is no exception.

The term sharkskin in tailoring refers to a finely woven fabric with a subtle two-tone effect, created by alternating light and dark threads in a twill weave. This gives the cloth a sleek, slightly textured appearance with a refined sheen, reminiscent of the smooth skin of a shark.
